Here at Hapi Yaki, we like to focus on what we DO eat, rather than what we DON’T eat. This is based largely around ketosis - a metabolic process whereby the body focuses on burning fat for fuel instead of glucose. We believe focusing on ketogenic foods combined with Intermittent Fasting is a winner for weight loss and mental clarity.
With our professional background in catering and our endless passion for food, we’ve used our knowledge and experience to curate an incredible 28 day meal plan to run alongside a guided gradual journey into fasting. We believe that what we eat when we fast is as important as the fast itself. When we consume these nutrient dense delicious foods during intermittent fasting, we further enhance the health benefits which ultimately complement this way of life on so many levels. The Meal Plan

Now you know more about the whys of the way we eat, it's now time to experience the food. You lot are in for a right treat!
We’ve worked tirelessly to bring you a diverse range of fabulous feasts inspired by our love of cuisines from across the globe.
On a daily basis you will pinch yourself that this is the way you’re eating now-just like we have done over the last year of recipe testing and living this ketogenic way of life.
Each day consists of 2 main meals, 2 sweet treats and an extra fat bomb to curb any potential hunger pangs.
We teach you how to meal prep like a boss, because we all know preparation is key for success. The plan is designed to make life as easy as possible, complete with minimal stress, and maximise flavour in every element. The food is a joy to eat and we hope you’ll gain some invaluable skills along the way that you can include in your cooking for the rest of your life. That sounds like a bold statement, but we assure you it’s true.
The HYH plan starts on a Monday, to set you up for success straight away.
What is Keto?
For those of you who are yet to be acquainted with the Ketogenic diet, this information will help you understand the basic principles, the scientific reasons behind its superpowers, and why we use this initially as a preferred food source when embarking along this journey.
You may have heard of Keto as a new fad diet. It's been all the rage for some time due to its rapid results in weight loss. Essentially, it is an extremely restrictive, extremely low carbohydrate diet, high in fat and with moderate protein. It involves keeping your NET carbohydrate intake to 20g or lower per day. We say this with experience, it simply isn’t sustainable long term. Not to mention how tricky it is to stick to eating less than 20g NET carbs a day. So many of our essential carbohydrates are found within the vegetables we eat. We simply cannot imagine endorsing a plan that tells you to cut out veggies as a principal rule.
So, with that in mind, we’ve worked really hard to include as many vegetables as possible so that we’re getting a varied range of nutrients through those veg we include in our dishes. Lots of leafy greens and ‘above ground grown’ produce such as tomatoes, peppers, cauliflower, broccoli, mushrooms, courgettes and aubergines, to name but a few. We steer away from root veg such as potatoes, parsnips, beetroot and any such starchy veg—FOR NOW! Once you’ve found a sweet spot in your IF and Ketogenic diet combo, these delicious foods can be added back in moderation as they hold their own in the nutrient ranks along with pulses such as lentils, beans and legumes.
