If you’re anything like us, you’ve tried dieting with initial success, but ultimately fall off the wagon time and time again, eventually ploughing on more weight than you were carrying before. Sound familiar? You must be as fed up as we were. We know the perpetual cycle of shame and disgust with yourself all too well. The constant mental beating over decades really started to take its toll, and I could feel how utterly out of control I was when it came to food. This wasn’t just about weight loss. It was about changing my mindset and creating a sustainable lifestyle; a lifestyle flexible enough that I could still take part in my favourite pleasures in life, such as going out for a guilt-free meal with my nearest and dearest.
Fasting has given me freedom, and I know it can do the same for you. With our knowledge and our skills, you too can change your life for the better with a fasting way of life.
What Are The Rules?
Intermittent fasting (IF) is an extremely straight forward concept.
It involves a rotating cycle of time when you eat, followed by a period where you don’t eat. Eat, fast, repeat. Simple!
It’s FAST becoming a popular way of life (WOL) due to it’s ability to promote healthy habits without turning your life upside down. It's a lifestyle we have adopted for a while now and we’ve had some astonishing results because of it. It’s more powerful than anything we’ve ever experienced when it comes to weight loss and general wellbeing.
IF is no new phenomena! It has deep roots that extend into our history as a human race. Our ancestors lived as hunter gathers, making the most of nature's best in the times when this was possible. They’d go for prolonged periods of time between finding and consuming food, so would unintentionally naturally live an IF lifestyle.
As WONDERFUL as this WOL is, there are a few things we recommend sticking to that will ultimately make your fasting lifestyle a much more enjoyable experience. It’s imperative that you fast CLEAN. By this, what we mean is that in your fasting window, you don’t consume anything except;
Water – still or sparkling
Black coffee – no milk or sugar
Black, green or unsweetened herbal tea (such as pure camomile or mint)
The question I get asked a lot is ‘can I just have a splash of milk in my tea in the morning?’
And my answer is always the same – of course you can, but it will break your fast. I have even gone so far as to now take my supplements when I’m within my eating window. So stick to the water, black coffee and black tea whilst in a fasted state for maximum results.
